Frijoles Charros

High protein and delicious savory beans with all natural ingredients.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place 1 cup of dry beans in large pot and add 6 cups of water.
  2. Dice onion and add to the pot. Put over medium heat for 3 hours.
  3. When beans are near done, dice Canadian bacon, garlic and sauté in olive oil in a large skillet.
  4. Once garlic and bacon start to brown, add remaining ingredients and stir fry until tomatoes start to break down.
  5. Add ingredients from skillet to bean pot.
  6. Cook together for at least another 30 minutes or until beans are entirely cooked.
