Flavorful Chicken Soup

Just a quick, basic chicken soup.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Spray stock pot with non-fat cooking spray. Sauté onions, carrots and celery in a stock pot. Add some of the broth to ensure they don't burn. Add salt and pepper.
  2. When the carrots begin to soften, add the cut chicken. Sauté for about 4 minutes. Add rosemary and sage.
  3. Add remaining chicken broth and bring the soup to a boil.
  4. When soup boils add the green beans (about 3 cups worth).
  5. Cook for about 8 minutes or until green beans are tender.
  6. Serve!
  7. Note: Add 1/4 cup cooked brown rice to your bowl before serving for more substance and try and use 99% fat free chicken broth.

double the onion, add at least a 7 oz. bag of raw spinach and be careful with the Cosmic Cajun!

This recipe is great for WW's. Low points...and great flavor! I'm not a huge soup fan...but this is really good!
