Low fat and easy cheese sauce for making yummy veggies, yummier!

  1. In non-stick pan, put margarine (like Becel or Promise) over medium-low heat till it starts to melt.
  2. Sift in the cornstarch (flour can be used too). Stir, ensuring no lumps are present.
  3. Start, slowly pouring milk into mixture.
  4. Keep whisking and toss in shredded cheese (you can use slices too) add seasonings to taste.
  5. Pour over steamed vegetables (cauliflower and broccoli especially good).
