Carob Blondies

No chocolate, no sugar treat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix melted butter, vanilla, and sugar.
  2. Beat in egg, and add flour/carob powder alternately and gradually.
  3. Mix in or top with chopped walnuts.
  4. Lightly spray an 8x8" pan with cooking spray. Pour in batter.
  5. Cook at 350 °F (175 °C) 20-25 minutes. Cool and enjoy.
  6. Note: agave can be substituted for coconut sugar; add an additional 1/4 cup of flour to compensate for the extra liquid.
