  1. Put apple slices in glass dish.
  2. Sprinkle dry gelatin evenly over apple slices.
  3. Heat in microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.

4 stars for the great idea! Now I'll need to actually try it to give you a real review. ;-) I may try adding a bit of cinnamon to the gelatin for that "red hot" taste.

Not bad, a bit messy for clean up. I may have used the wrong apples because they started out sweet but then got sour. Still pretty good though :)
