Bran Muffins

Slightly healthier than regular muffins.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Stir dry ingredients together. Set aside.
  2. Place cereal and milk into large mixing bowl. Let stand 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir egg and applesauce into cereal mixture.
  4. Add flour mixture, stirring until moistened.
  5. Optional to fold in some raisins or a little pumpkin.
  6. Portion batter evenly into 12 greased muffin cups. Optional to add some chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake at 400 °F (200 °C) , for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Serve warm.

Reviews 
Fat Flush does not allow wheat flours, bran, applesauce, milk, salt, sugar or sugar substitutes. The only approved sweetner is stevia. I find this not a good choice at all for Fat Flushers.

This recipe calls for sugar but I'm sure you can replace it with splena. I will be trying some different variations and keep everyone updated.
