Blueberry Compote

A delicious blueberry sauce made with fresh blueberries.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add half of the blueberries, the honey, and the water to a sauce pan and stir.
  2. Cook over medium high heat, while constantly stirring.
  3. When the blueberries have burst and the sauce is a deep purple, add the last half of the blueberries.
  4. Continue stirring the sauce until the blueberries have cooked, just a few more minutes.
  5. Note: great on French toast or pancakes! Can be easily doubled (or more) if cooking for more than one.

FYI 1/3 of a tbsp is one tsp. Great recipe, as well!

Sorry, I got to this recipe through someone in my LCHF group... I thought it was theirs... This has way too much carbs for that diet and I thought they were taunting me LOL Sorry for bad review...
