Barbecue Chicken & Bacon Portobello Pizza

A low carb barbecue chicken & bacon "pizza" on a portobello mushroom.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Set oven on broil.
  2. Scrape gill from portobello mushroom cap.
  3. Lightly grease pizza pan with cooking oil spray.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese inside the mushroom. Add diced chicken and torn basil leaves.
  5. Drizzle with barbecue sauce.
  6. Top with sliced tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and seasoning.
  7. Broil for about 8-10 minutes.
  8. Serve with desired sauce.

If you're a mushroom lover, this is a delicious alternative to pizza. Totally amazing. I tend to not like the way cheddar cheese melts, so I substitute mozzarella
