Anything that you think of that would be good to replace the date with? I'm not a fan of dates, other than that I want to try it!

So delicious! I ended up doubling the recipe. Also used soaked date pieces & replaced half of the oil with the soaking liquid. Next time (and there will definitely be a next time), I may omit all oil and pop them in the dehydrator. Hmm...

Sounds delicious but I don't see how the nutrition info could possible be correct. Bananas, dates and oats are all higher carb/sugar items not allowed on induction.

Very yummy...I added chopped dried apricots for extra sweetness and less oil as per comments from previous reviews and turned out great!

Great that it is only one point but they are oily if you use the full 1/3 cup. I read the comments and just used 1/4 and it was still too much so I added another 1/4 to 1/2 C of oats. Much better!

I'm wondering if applesauce could be used in place of the oil?

I agree that one could cut back on the oil. It did seem a little oily to me too. But I liked them very much.
