Buttermilk Biscuits

Soft, homemade biscuits using only 5 ingredients.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and lard by hand until it is roughly the texture of cornmeal.
  2. Add buttermilk and combine.
  3. Roll out on a floured surface. Cut into 5 biscuits and dip in bacon grease.
  4. Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes. Let it cool and serve.
