Alton Brown's Four Lists
I'm currently trying to follow Alton's four lists philosophy. It's not really that difficult, but that's maybe because I live by myself and I can limit what I'm buying strictly to things on the lists. Razz

It's true! It's always harder for me on the weekends, too.

Fox News and HCG Diet
Treb,
I love howstuffworks.com, and I went there to understand what this hcg stuff is all about. From what I read, it is:
1) expensive,
2) doesn't form great habits (no exercise and 500 calories a day? what happens when treatment stops?)
3) not approved by the FDA (except as a fertility treatment)

So I'm wondering what you think about how you'll be in the long term without daily treatment for this diet? Because the site also said that you should only do it four or five times total, is that right? I just don't know how this is setting you up for healthy habits for the rest of your life. I'm all about making myself form the healthy habits now so I don't relapse into more weight later.

If you do snack at night ... whats your favorite healthiest snack!?
When I freeze fruit, I make sure that it's in one layer on a baking sheet or something until it freezes and then stick it all in a bag, that way the fruit doesn't stick together when it freezes. Frozen grapes are absolutely the best thing ever.

Exercise (Activity)
I always judge by when I really feel done. "Done" is when I feel my muscles hurting a bit, when I'm panting a bit, but when I have not yet hit that "my chest hurts" feeling. Usually when I get that feeling, I quit.
