Finally off my most recent plateau
I've been stuck around 270 lbs for several weeks, it seems but it looks as if I've finally broken free and am losing again. However my most recent weigh-in was 266.6 I hope the triple 6's are not significant to how things are gonna go for the next few days!

The band I'm in is starting to play again so having something to do and focus on will help the process along. Good to be out among folks again!

Thanks again to all who have supported and encouraged my journal posts. This is a good group!

State of affairs
Hey folks,
I've been away from the forum for a while. My wife was on vacation last week so we took the chance to have several dates, most of which involved really good food. Needless to say, I put on a few pounds so back to being really focused on counting calories.

I think June was my target month to be down to 250lbs but I'm still a ways off from that. However, I have lost so much that I just can't be too upset about that. I've decided to forget goals and just work on keeping my weight on a downward trend and eating to feel better.

I want to thank all the folks that have encouraged me on my weight loss journal entries. I work part-time as a musician here in my retirement years and we had our first job since the plague started last week. It felt good to be among people again. Also it felt good that people noticed I had lost a bunch of weight since they saw me last.

Y'all stay healthy we can whip this unhealthy eating thing!

Stuck again
I'm stuck on another plateau. I keep going back and forth between 269 and 270. Though now, I know from past experience that I will start losing again. However this time I've hurt my ankle and am not able to exercise like I should. I'm so close to my 1st goal I can almost taste it!
I've not been eating exactly like I should , either... so ... time to get my head right again.

Easter
I must admit to a real fondness of Easter Candy. That insidious Bunny brought me 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs and I've eater all but 1! Also had a nice big Easter Dinner... so... I've lost a little ground but am working hard this week to make it back. Even with this twisted ankle, I manage to get a little exercise. My goal has me at 250 by July. Fingers crossed... I'm gonna make it!

Bad ankle slowing my exercise
I've suffered a twisted ankle recently and it is keeping me from my daily walks. Yet somehow I still manage to lose a little weight. I'm watching my diet fairly carefully But I'm ready to get out and be a little more active.

Having lost what weight I have has made me feel better and spryer and I'm ready to get out and kayak, take walks etc.

so, come on ankle.... heal!
