My name is Christina. I live in So Cal with my Husband and two daughters. I work in the medical device industry and love what I do.

I have fallen into the restrictive diet traps many times. I do not want to starve...I want to make a lifestyle change. I want to learn to prepare healthy meals and incorporate excercise into my daily routine.

My goal is to be healthy and happy. I want to be a great role model for my daughters.

Advice Needed.
Hi all,

I am working out about 6-7 hours a week. 3 hours cardio, 3 hours strength training and 15-30 minutes of stretching after each workout. Here is my issue; I am not losing weight. I can feel the muscle that I am gaining under the fat. I am all for building strength but I think that I need to change my program a little to start losing the fat. I have an appointment with a personal trainer next Tuesday but would love to hear what has worked for others. What is your cardio/strength ratio and how much weight do you lift?

Thanks!
