I started with LA WL Feb. 07 - I weighed in at 223. I'm doing okay - counselers say I'm "on track". But last week was horrible - I felt hungry all the time, yet I gained 3 pounds in one week - AACCKKK!!! I almost didn't do my weigh-in Wednesday. But, made myself and discovered I lost 5.3 pounds!!!!! And to think, I almost cheated major big time because I was so down about the gain.

I am married - in August for 35 yrs. We have 4 grown children; 4 grandchildren. I also have two shih tzu and an African Grey parrot. I do scrapbooking and Bunka - a Japanese Embroidery. And I play games on Pogo.

ruzz --- i know the end of the month our center is changing our plans for the new Feel Full ones. That caloric amount is the same, but the portions will be different. Only real example my counselor gave me was right now we get 1 cup of lettuce for a serving -on this new plan its 3 cups a serving!! But for now, the staff is doing the plan, then next week they train - then we change. remind me and i'll let you know....if you don't hear before then. Right now I'm on the purple, with lites. So maybe what I find out won't be so helpful to you.... just me, laura

HI Amanda!!! Congraulations on the baby and the wedding coming up!!!! August is a GREAT month to marry in -- we celebrate our 35st next month!!!! As for the weight -- yeppers, am at a plateau thing now even. Been up and down within a 5 pound range, so counselor put me on TO with 5-day follow up. And I agree with ruzz - you GOT to make time for YOU to be healthier!!!!!! That little one of yours needs that big time!!!!

New Plans and measuring plate?
Talked to my counselor today about a possible new plan - and they are taking training for it here next week. I expressed concerns -- I don't go around filling full, and have gains -- what's gonna happen if I actually feel full????? She said the new plan is the same calories, just eaten differently. I was gonna love it. I didn't ask about the plates.

For those on the purple plan, the changes are (I've heard):

3 proteins (but fewer ounces per)
4 veggies
3 fruit
4 starches (smaller portions)
2 dairy
2 fat
2 la lites
