Hey everyone!! I am a stay-at-home mom. I am 30, happily married, and have 3 beautiful children, ages 9, 5, and 3, who keep me very busy. I was never thin, even in highschool. But when I started having babies, my weight really started the yo-yo thing. I tend to gain a lot during pregnancy. Not due to genetics but due to the "eat everything I want" diet. I'd lose some weight but never all of it. Now I'm ready to take care of myself. I need to be healthier for myself, my husband, and my children. I really know I can do this so here I go!!!

thanks giving
To be honest I havent even begun to think of Thanksgiving yet. I just began this not even a couple weeks ago. Its going great so far and I know that I will not be willing to backslide over thanksgiving. I will need to cook everything though because I have a family who definitely will want all the trimmings. So I'll probably eat very small portions of anything that seems fairly healthy and pass on the rest. I think by that time my weight loss will encourage me to behave but I certainly dont plan on forgoing everything. That's really not what this diet teaches. Anything in moderation.Smile

lightheadedness
Hey everyone, just wondering if any of you experienced any lightheadedness in the beginning of this diet. This is probably TMI, but my monthly visitor just started up and Im a little concerned about my iron intake due to the very limited amount of meat Im eating. I dont even know if that is for sure why Im feeling lightheaded. It may just be my bodys reaction to such a huge change in diet. I REALLY ate terribly before and to cut all that fat out so quickly is probably shocking my body. I dont mind shocking my body. It needed a pretty good shock. But I am a little concerned about the lightheadedness. Anyways, just wondered if anyone else experienced this. Oh and I am drinking PLENTY of water so I know its not dehydration.

Take care,

Extreme Fat Smash vs. Fat Smash
Hey everyone!

Hope you all are doing well. Just wondering if anyone is doing the extreme fat smash diet instead of the fat smash diet. The book says if you need to lose 50-100 pounds than the original fat smash diet would be better but if you need to lose 10-20 pounds then the newer extreme fat smash is better. But what if I want to lose 40 pounds? The second version cuts out the detox stage. Im guessing there are other differences too. Have any of you tried both?

Anyways, just curious. Have a great holiday weekend!!!

How often do you weigh in?
Hey all,
I'm new here and just wondered how often you weigh in? I have the reminder set for once a week. Although I know I'll weigh myself everyday. I'm one of those obsessive weighers. Yesterday was my first day on the diet and although I didnt totally struggle Im a real snacker so that was a bit hard for me. I guess instead of chocolate I just need to eat those carrots or grapes. I am encouraged that I am 2 pounds down from yesterday morning. Anyways, glad I can join you all!!Very Happy
