I've slowly taken off 70 pounds by daily walking and by eating a healthier and lower calorie diet. Being an older woman, I need far fewer calories than when I was younger. The weight came off much more slowly than when I was a young woman too. I paid closer attention to what I ate and made a serious effort to eat a well-rounded diet. I eliminated empty calories like wine, salad dressing and jam. Fat Secret helped me track my food and plan ahead. I weighed many foods in grams on a small digital scale which I think is key to controlling portion size. I found that three meals a day and no snacking worked best for me. I started my weight-loss journey at the beginning of February 2018 and have slowly lost 70 pounds. I put a few pounds back on whenever I went on trips and then again over the past Christmas season. I'm back on track now and am planning to gradually shed another 20 pounds.
