if you are on thyroid meds - you might want to be careful with the soy - it has been found that soy can block the body from absorbing the thyroid med making it even more frustrating to take the pounds off

help
all great advice - I too have an under active thyroid - I do find weight training helps me the best - although if you look at my numbers you will see a 20 lb gain over the last two years - kind of gave up - but now I am back to it - I will never be a barbie doll again - but I can sure be better than I am today
