After some research and suggestions from others on HCG I have found that canned tomatoes are not allowed because of the sodium and sugar added. Oops! So no more of those.
Also finding that they recommend Lipten for maintenance on phase 4(?). I am still trying to figure it all out. I will need to research that plan.
What amazes me the most is no hunger pains on this plan eating only 500 calories a day. I am having cravings, but this is that TOM for me so that goes hand in hand. My son brought me some giant chocolate chips (not knowing I am doing this) and asked me to bake some cookies. I don't think I will be doing that anytime soon. LOL
I feel great, have mental clarity and much more energy than I have had in a long time.

well I have several friends doing the HCG plan and are losing and keeping it off while incorporating Atkins and other diets for maintenance so I decided to give it a try. I am just doing the homeopathic drops but still have a 7lb loss in 7 days.
I know the first week is generally water weight but still, this is the most I have ever lost in a week and I am not hungry or craving foods.
I am drinking 80 oz of water a day and eating 500 healthy calories per day but I feel like I am eating more.
I hope this works as well for me as it has for them. The key is to follow it to a tee so that is what I am doing.
