I started Atkins approximately 3.5 weeks ago. I love it. I can already see positive changes. I went from 240 to 229 as of today. My skin is clearer and more youthful. I have more energy. I seem to be able to read my body better. I can handle stress better. I have a more positive attitude. i still have alot of weight to lose however, I know that I am in this for the long haul. I have no intentions of going back to the way I was eating before. I am tired of being the fat sister. I want to be the healthy, slender, sister!

As of 09/19/10 my measurements are:

waist - 47.00
Hips - 46.25
Thighs - 26.50
Calves - 17.00
Upper Arm - 14.00
Chest - 50.25
Lower waist 51.00

Will measure every 4 weeks.

As of October 16, 2010 my measurements are:

waist: 46.00
(right above belly button)
Hips: 45.50
Thighs: 26.25
Calves: 17.00
Upper Arms: 13.25

Going off Atkins.
I have to agree with everyone that has responded. I've not seen or read anything that would indicate that you should limit fat to 60 grams. I know that when I feel weak I probably am low on my sodium and should drink some broth. Also as far as feeling hungry I know that I did not eat enough fat for the day. So I will find something to eat that will have fat in it. Before I know it I feel better.
