Hip Surgery can't be an excuse to be overweight
Depending on how your movement is, you might be able to rollerblade/rollerskate--that's virtually no impact. Otherwise I always recommend Wii Fit (with the balance board) to people looking for cardio with mobility issues. It goes at your pace and also helps with balance if that's an issue.

Savory Breakfast Ideas?
Z'sMama: I was vegan for a long time, and I've found that while tofu on its own is pretty icky, esp as a substitute for eggs, but there are quite a few ways to make it LESS miserable. If you freeze it then defrost it, the texture changes...add some salt and pepper and garlic to it, then some veggie sausage or tempeh bacon. Bacon Salt is awesome for that too, it's comparable to salt but vegetarian with bacon flavoring (nom). Being as I'm hispanic, I'll usually put that in a burrito and be good to go. Also here in Arizona it's common to find Soyrizo or vegetarian chorizo, which is really yummy with tofu or eggs if you do them. Another good addition to a tofu scramble is home fries-style potatoes (if you get them frozen in a bag they're just the ends of crinkle cut french fries, but diced potatoes work just as well)--they can round out a meal in a flash. Amy's also makes some amazing tofu scramble breakfasts (even if they are a little pricey comparatively speaking). There's one with spinach and onions and sliced tomato in it...it's awesome.

Can I add a food that's not there?
Yeah, you can absolutely do that. Just make sure the individual ingredients are on the list and add them if need be. Let's say you search for it but can't find an item or the nutritional info is different for the one you have--you can add it using the link off on the right bar of the page that says "add a new item to the database." Once you have everything in, you can use the "my cook book" option under "my fatsecret" to create the recipe and either make it available to everyone or keep it to yourself

Exercise music - what are you listening to?
I have lots of friends who are dj's so I have whole dj sets I've put on my mp3 of them spinning records. Always high energy, good for long walks or bike rides. I recommend four4ths.com, they have a "free stuff" area where you can download mp3s of just songs or whole dj sets. Soundcloud.com is also good, but you can't always download from there. I also recommend last.fm for those with smartphones, seed something like David Guetta...when I'm tired of hearing the same music I do that too.
