Hello Everyone Im steph and I a new member to this site and Im extremely excited I came across this site. My goal is to get my pregnancy weight off and be more active and feel better health wise and have confidence in myself again. and teach my 2 year old lets be active and play outside and not in the house. Which so far he loves outside. Ruff in the summer time in Az. And learn how to have better eating habits. That being said, the reason Im here is I have a laziness about me , especially getting motivative especially when Im alone by myself b/c its my sons time with his dad. Im really good about talking my self out of not doing anything when I get home from work. I work at 4-5am and work 10+ hrs and get only 2 30min breaks during that time its in a medical clinic so were not allowed to have food or drinks out on the floor ( which is understandable) thats where I need advice and tips on eating habits that will up my metaoblism with the time I have available.So what Im looking to get out of this is knowing that I can do this that your not alone when you get stuck in limbo and the weight up and down wk to wk. and a little push every now and again to stay on track and not give in to laziness anymore. So I hope I get a chance to meet some of you and learn ,and be there has a motivator as well.

Hey I know its hard not to be upset and disappointed in ourselfs and not see the "old" you in that mirror. I used to be so obsessed about my weight and took care of it the wrong way. And would go up and down like a roller coaster. now I dont even keep a scale at home. I weigh myself at work but thats me. keep your head up and keep on keeping on, and know your a beautiful women and dont let the fact that you're not the same size as when you first met break you down, we all change as time goes on. lifes to hard as it is to be hard on ourselves. Just do it for you believe in it and you'll get there its hard work and wont happen over night. but don't give up and there a good support system on this site. you want to talk I try to check regularly and Im taking it one day at a time and thats all I can hope. And to be around for my son. Anytime you need an ear or an opinion. Smile It gets better eventually believe me. hope to hear from yeah

What do you have to be thankful for in life
Awesome idea!!! I have a horrible habit of focusing on the bad in my life instead of the good. So it was wonderful to come across this and be reminded to be thankful for what we have in our lifes. So thank you. So what im thankful for is my beautiful 2 yr old son. Its hard for me when its his dads week to have him (custody) because I miss him so much!, Im glad my son has his dad in his life and he's a good dad don't get me wrong but my son lights up my whole life, he makes horrible days into great one, makes me laugh, and play ( which is good)Smile. He's 2 though he can drive me bananas haha but before my son I never knew that type of love and feeling before, and because of him I get through the rock bottoms,and the crazy lows. And know I have a purpose now and so thankful that I got the gift to be his mommy Smile
and if I write to much for you guys and ramble let me know please I can go on and on. I wouldn't want to be a pest

cutting sugars is hard I have such a horrible sweet tooth myself and I still not there. The reason Im starting to cut sugars and sweets is diabeties runs in my family on both sides, and I got gestestional diabeties while I was pregnant so I have alot higher chance in getting it when Im older if I dont keep my body in check. I mention this just to put it out there to look at family history and if its a bad addiction where you get the shakes or feel weak and your skins clammy just check health first before you send your body into shock by doing anything drastic. I used to pratically drink almost a whole 12 pk of soda a day. I decided I was done did cold turkey ended up with severe migraines and not sleeping for a day because of pain and it started to ease up after I put all those nasty sugars back in my body. I weened my self and now Im only down to 2 a day if that. I work in dialysis in az. there's no way Im drinking coffee when it 90 or higher at 4 am when I go to work Smile. I'll chat with. I know how you feel about embarrassment it's taking me 2 year to open my eyes about my weight, and my eating habits. I hope your husband means well in all this like to support you and encourage you because you need to get healthier and eat better. Not because he wants a twig wife, and hope that doesn't come out as husband bashing I dont know you guys. And I hope you want to do it for yourself to because you want it and not because someones telling you to. Ive learned the hard way that Im the onw thats gotta want it or my hearts not in it and then I don't put in the effort and I accomplish nothing but self defeat and that sucks. So its always good to have someone to talk to and help and support one another.
