How often do you weigh yourself?
I weigh daily but i don't record it because of the fluctuations. I record my weight on Friday. Some people posted that weighing everyday keeps them honest to the scale but to me, I think weighing once a week will give you more incentive to follow your program because you want to see results. I think I'm going to TRY to be good and only weigh on Friday mornings.....see how it goes.

3000 Calories? Really?!?
In the past I have always stuck to eating between 1000 and 1200 calories for weight loss. I could never stick to it. Right now, when I'm not on some crazy food binge, I'm eating 1800 - 2000 calories, not exercising and I'm losing weight. We think starving ourselves is the trick to losing weight, but if your calorie deficit is too high, your body is going to go into starvation mode and store fat and cause you to gain weight. Its not the QUANTITY of calories but the QUALITY. When I eat McDonald's and ice cream and sweet potato pie, a thousand calories puts me over the top on the scale. Eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and heart-healty fats, allows me to eat much more and makes weight loss easier

Is it better to exercise in the morning or evening?
Ditto - personal choice - I've heard recommendations to work out in the morning to get it over with. There are a lot more excuses and distractions to allow you to skip/postpone a workout in the evenings. I exercise when I feel like it....morning or night.

Do you like cottage cheese or does it make you cringe?
The thought of cottage cheese used to make me gag watching my grandmother eat it. I discovered it is a good source of protein so I desired to give it a try for myself. I started mixing it with pineapple and I could get down but I was disgusted the entire time. Then a coworker told me to put it on my salad add my dressing and I wont even taste it. She was SO right!!! I put a cup on my salad and with my rasberry vinegrette dressing, I don't taste the cottage cheese at all but i still get the benefits Smile
