I'm a 42 year old girl, I like that term better than woman, living in North Florida. I've been married for almost 23 years to the most wonderful man in the world. I have two children, a son who is soon to be 21 in February who is in the Army currently serving in Afghanistan. I also have a daughter who is 15, who is very involved in dance. I also have a Golden Retriever named Goldie, of course, and a kitty named Nellie.

This is my 2nd time doing South Beach. I started about 3 years ago, right before my son went in the Army. We moved from Maine to Florida, while waiting for our house to be finished we lived in a very small apartment, lots of stuff happened and I just kinda quit. I was very successful, I lost almost 20 lbs.

Well I'm back again. Right now my goal is to get into a size six pants and to feel better. Then we will go from there.

Remember: nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

I take some lunch meat and cheese, along with some cut up vegies. I also buy the small containers of cottage cheese. How about soup? Chilli is great. Hope this helps.

Black beans
Hey all, I have a bag of dried black beans any ideas of what to do with them? I know you can make black bean soup, but how? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a happy and safe new yearVery Happy

Starting tomorrow~any advise?
Hey all, I'm starting SB tomorrow for the 2nd time. I did it about 3 years ago and was very successful. Looking forward to hearing from anyone with advise or someone who like to be a "buddie"
