I went on the Atkin's Diet a few years ago, and lost lots of weight. I strayed away from the plan, and gained most of the weight back. I'm giving it another try, and plan to stay low-carb from now on.

Tired muscles
Yesterday the tired muscle sensation stopped, so I guess I wasn't quite over the "flu" yet. I've felt great the last two days. I have found that a really hot shower helps. I normally take cool showers, during this sweltering heat, but I'll crank up the AC and turn on all hot water for now. Wink I'm feeling much better, and am going to stick with Atkins since I'm making good progress. Smile Thanks for all the help, guys! Smile

Tired muscles
Thanks for the suggestions! Smile

I am taking vitamins, including B-100 complex. I've been thinking about a yoga class, so I'm going to look into it today. I'm going to up my water intake, as well...I'm in Louisiana, and it's hot as hell right now! I do want to stick with Atkin's for now.

Tired muscles
I'm new here, but have done Atkin's before...with excellent results. I didn't stick with it, though, and gradually gained my weight back. My hubby and I are back on the diet, after about 3 years away. I'm about halfway into my second week.

I'm having a problem with my calf and upper arm muscles staying tired feeling, kind of like I've been working out too much...only I'm not. I'm eating well and am not hungry, and I'm drinking about 50 ounces of water a day. I drink 2 cans of Diet Mug root beer a day (no caff.) and a cup of 1/4 caff. coffee in the morning. In general, I'm getting really tired around 3pm. I went through a couple of days of induction flu the first week, but am over that now. Any ideas on what I need to do to get over this? Thanks in advance! Smile
