Well after a long hiatus from the dieting world and Fatsecret, I am back. I had a really rough semester with the break up of my 3 year boyfriend and not getting accepted in graduate school @ Clemson. It was a very hard semester filled with so many ups and down, including my weight. After the break up I lost about 6 pounds in 3 days. After the initial shock of everything wore off I did the opposite and started gaining weight. I couldn't find the energy to cook healthy, I ate out constantly and there was certainly no energy to exercise. I really feel like I gave up, and while I'm disappointed in myself I realize that life is hard and sometimes you have to take time to get your life back together and figure out who you are again before you can move on to other things. I gained about 10 pounds since January. As terrible as that is, I'm glad it wasn't worse (I've seriously been eating such crap). I'm doing the HCG diet again, which I did successfully last summer and lost 20 pounds. My very best friend is doing it with me which is exciting to have someone there with me for the next 21 days! Exercise is kind of limited on the HCG diet because you are only eating 500 calories a day as it is, but I'm going to try and do some AB work and some weight training instead of hard core cardio. If I feel fatigued I'll know to cut down on the exercise until the 21 days are over. After the 21 days, I plan to get back to my Couch 2 5K plan that I totally gave up on and also spend some time in the gym! So, to all the people who gave me words of encouragement, I haven't forgotten about you and I still appreciate you all more than you know! I just needed a little break from the diet world, but I'm back in full force. I hope all of you are doing well!
