After looking over some old favorite recipes from the South Beach Diet this morning, I decided that I'm going to give SB a try. I went online and found some great SB approved breakfasts that don't inlude eggs and now I am feeling motivated to do this diet again. I know it worked so well for me before and I won't have to learn any new eating plans b/c SB was my daily routine for about 2 years before having my daughter and gaining some weight back. I will officially begin next Monday- after grocery shopping on Sunday. I would really love for these last 10-15 lbs to be gone!

losing 0.3 lb a week
28 January 2008
I worked out this morning and I feel great! I concentrated on my back and biceps, but I also worked legs and abs. Then, did about 30 min. on the elliptical. I came home and made a high protein salad- with beans, nuts, seeds and cheese. I followed that with small sliced apple dipped in natural peanut butter. I feel really full- which is good for me b/c I rarely feel full! It seems that lean proteins work well for me when I want to stay full for long periods of time. I wish that I was seeing a bigger payoff with as much work as I feel like I've been doing! I am tempted to weigh myself ( I haven't done that in about a week) but I don't want to feel let down. My attitude toward food really changes when I feel like my weight isn't changing- especially if it goes up! I also tend to eat foods that I wouldn't normally eat when I am working out- which just negates what I am trying to do in the gym. Oh well, one day at a time and one meal at a time!
