We emigrated to New Zealand last year from the U.K. I have two beautiful boys and have been married for 6 years. I am taking a break in my career to spend more time with my boys.
I have been a yoyo dieter for years. Before we moved here I had gone on a VLCD (all about weight) and managed to get down to 9 stone 13lbs which is the lightest Id been for years. I was on the diet for just over a month and lost well over a stone ( can't remember exactly).
I turned 40 on the weekend. I would love to get down to 9 1/2 stone. I,m 5ft 3. I am following the 5:2 plan and started last Monday. I am following this plan for the other health benefits. I had gestational diabetes with both pregnancies and was prescribed insulin for my last pregnancy, so I really need to get my weight under control or I shall become diabetic.
My downfall is I love food! Hahaha! I just eat too much of it. I also love Whittikars peanut butter chocolate ( salivating at the thought).
Good luck all!

Reduce your carb intake. Only eat low GI food and always team with protein. Good luck

No weight loss ????
Is there any possibility you could be ingesting more calories than you think? What exercise are you doing and when and what intensity? Have you tried interval training? Circuit training or some kind of boot camp training is really great for weight loss, I also like Led Mills RPM classes and body pump to burn the calories. Don't get disheartened....really look at exactly everything you eat/drink. I found weighing food helped for a week or so to see how much I should be eating or how little to lose weight....its very easy to underestimate your calorie intake. Good luck!
