I am 76 and a mother to a 53 year old daughter. I'm a believer in Jesus Christ and I like to go to church, Bible studies, TOPS and LA Fitness(I read while exercising on the stationary bike). Although raised outside of Denver until age 10, I've been a Californian since. I won't open an e-mail unless I know who it's from. I've struggled with overeating and poor food choices since I was a teen when I realized I was overweight. I got down to goal in my senior year and kept it off for a while. When I got pregnant at age 21 I was 10 pounds overweight. After giving birth, I was successful in getting down to goal of 148 in 1969 with 16 weeks of WW, keeping the weight off for a year or so before gaining back. In 1976 or so I got back to goal with Hcg through Lindora Clinic in Orange, Ca. loosing 30 pounds but didn't do maintenance and gained weight back over time. I remember how good I felt and got down to a size 12 for the first time I could remember. Even my cankles shaped up. So I know by experience where I want to be physically. Looking at my past successes give me hope for the future. Recently I started OMAD food plan and am feeling great. I would like to takr Hcg for last 30# when I get there because of how it targets abnormal fat deposits. Hopefully Keto also targets abnormal fat in calves and ankles.

Hi Everybody
I see so many of us gained the Covid19. I did too. Change is so stressful. Both good and bad changes are difficult and are losses of the old ways, situations, even people. A lot of us are stress eaters. For me, it's good to recognize and grieve the losses like the loss of open and visible smiles in interactions with others, the loss of security in the fear of contracting Covid19, the inability to use my gym membership. And they say the first grieving step is denial, then anger, then depression. So to all who were able to get to the point of getting back with your preferred way of eating and shedding the Covid19 pounds gained, congratulations! To those still grieving ((and we have much in our country to grieve over), let's acknowledge our losses and take the best care of ourselves than we have the power to do. Thank God, He has given us the power to choose our actions moment by moment. Mostly, I want to remember to choose Jesus as my Savior, Protector and LORD in these tumultuous times. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed."

Females over 50 - Lose 100 Pounds
On Oct 31 I posted a desire to be at or less than last year's weight at my annual physical. I made it with ounces less than Dec 2019 visit. Also excellent labs. Still want to let go of next 7.4#. I am not going to quit.
