In the Marine Corps in the 70s and 80s, then into Law enforcement and now construction for the last twenty years.
I defected from Calif. and gained asylum in Washington in 2000 but my job has me traveling all over the western states.
My hobbies and interests are Guns and shooting (But no hunting) and talking about Guns and shooting and reading about guns and shooting . Did I mention I like Guns and Shooting?
I enjoy getting back in the Kitchen and cooking the recipes since I've been dieting. I have added a couple hundred dollars worth of cooking and food prep gadgets in the last couple months.
I have one wife, one dog and one daughter (She just turned thirty)
My weight loss secret is I endured so much the first couple weeks there ain't no way I’m pulling out of this investment now.
I stopped dieting in 2012 and gained most of my weight back but decided to start again and see if hopefully I can maintain the loss this time.

Sign me up, I not familiar with the "Curves Diet but I'm an expert at moral support.
I can relate to what you're saying about people ribbing for eating healthy; it's almost like they would feel better if they can get you to give in. So stick to your guns and keep trying to stay fit.
I'm rooting for ya.

I need support!!!
I agree with Brittany become faithful to your calorie counter, no matter what you eat put it in it really helps to see what your putting in then set little goals as you go.
For me it also helps knowing that some one else is watching, especially when someone comments on something I've put in (Good or bad).

thanks for all the replies..hopefully i'll have enough will power to cut out all the sweets.

The good thing about slim fast is the snack bars are sweets just small sized so they help take the edge off sweets cravings

Fell off the wagon :(
I started Slim fast on Dec 17 2010 at 240 and I'm now at 179.6 so yes in fact that would be 60 lbs in three months. I know that is over the two to three pounds a week but actually the first three weeks is when I had the major weight loss and then it has averaged 2.8 a week.
I also eat a lot of Kale, ginger, raw honey and apple cyder viniger in my 500 calorie balanced meal recipes and drink Oolong tea which are all supposed to be fat burning super-foods
So good luck and stick to it twenty lbs in two months is very realistic... Go for it
