So that is me in the middle--aiming to get rid of the 3 chins--lol

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. My little one has Asperger's and is quite a handful so right now I stay at home. I have a degree in Elementary Education because after my son's challenges I thought he would need someone on his side fighting for help, etc.

Since I'm at home, I gained alot of weight. I joined Atkins online about 2 years ago, but about 1/2 way through I fell off the wagon and gained back some. Cheating is not an option on Atkins, you can really do some damage, lol. So back on again since November, now in Phase 3 on Atkins and just started adding carbs back in. Oatmeal, rice, pasta, bagels--all whole wheat and only 1 of them a week.

I have 15 plus to lose still. Would love it if I lost another 20--but we will see how the 15 goes, lol. So excited to be on Fatsecret. These groups are so much fun!!!

Atkins question
Hey aaron326, I am in phase 3----so far i've added whole grain rice, whole grain pasta, and whole wheat bagels. I also had some sort of wrap that was so good, it was soft but the ingredients said whole wheat flour. I think it's the enriched bleached whole wheat flour that is bad. I have about 14 or so lbs to go. Thanks for the help!

Atkins question
Hey guys,

I have been adding in whole wheat carbs, rice, breads etc slowly, but still have a few questions. Does anyone know if there is a certain whole wheat flour to look out for? I thought I once heard there is like a whole wheat flour and just whole wheat. Not sure what to look for on the labels. I think maybe whole wheat flour might contain other things were not supposed to have. Does anyone know? Thanks, Renee ; )
