I have been up and down with my weight loss journey for so long. It's hard sometimes to remain consistent in eating healthier and exercising. I'll make a good amount of progress and fall off the wagon. So what makes this time any different than the rest you may wonder.....well me just making the effort to keep doing my best. I've tried doing the quick/fast diets that have failed me each and every time. I'm not getting any younger so I have to remain focused on getting the weight off and keeping it off. I've recently joined a gym and I have a workout partner along with my daughter working out with me and cheering me on and giving me great support. I never really had a support team backing me before because I thought I could just do it on my own but I'm more mindful now of what I eat, how much of it I eat. Some days I find myself making bad food choices and starting to binge on snack foods, so in that area I need some work. With time and continous effort to do better I can make more mindful choices about what I'm putting into my body that will help me get over this hurdle and logging everything I eat (including the bad stuff) will help me keep things in check.
