Well I'm on here like everyone else I guess, which is to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I stumbled across this website through the application on my phone and I absolutely love it! I'm able to track my food very easily on my phone, which is a bonus. Prior to, I was writing everything down by good ole' pen and paper. I want to lose about 30 pounds and I will keep on going until I lose and then I will keep on going to maintain. So needless to say, this is a lifelong journey for me. Calories in vs calories out. Simple enough but it took me forever to finally figure that out. So we'll see what the future will hold :)

Good point Hoser! I can understand your position. Yes, I do believe you have to do what's best for you and what's attainable for you. If you do something and you don't like it, you're not likely to stick with it for the long-haul.

I think the same equates with a "diet". If you restrict your calories and not allow yourself any wiggle room, you're likely to binge eat and fall off the wagon. I think it's all about balance and what you can handle. Thanks for your explanation Smile

@Hoser- Gosh, I've seen a few of your posts on different forums and you seem quite negative and condescending. Not to offend you, well maybe to do so...Either way, I thought the purpose of this "free" website is to encourage each other to lose weight and not bash each other at every thing someone says.

What works for one, doesn't always work for the next person. We get that. But if I wanted to read all these negative posts, I would have broadcast my weightloss goals on Facebook.

I'm sure we can all learn from each other, as we wouldn't be on this website... ~Just my opinion~
