I have stage 3 kidney disease,due to high blood pressure. My doctor put me on a low protein diet (60 grams per day,) because I have protein spilling out of my kidney's into my urine. I am so happy that I found fatsecret! I can keep track of my protein intake, plus carbs, sugar, sodium (which is also a big plus). I am overweight for my height, so this will also help me lose weight, as well keep track of my protein. It's hard for me to lose weight because I'm sedimentary, due to health conditions. But I'm going to try to to lose weight, and get up and walk a little each day, because I've got to get my blood pressure down to keep my kidney's from getting worse.

On the right track!
I happy to say that, I'm starting out on the right track. I have lost 6.2 lbs, been drinking lits of water, walking 1 hour every day, and stay on my low protein diet. I feel really good Very Happy !! I know this is only the first week, but I plan on keeping this up. Next week it will be really hard for me, I have to get an injection in my left knee, so I hope I can continue my walking every day.
