I'm 51 and have struggled and obsessed about body & weight since I was 15. My all time high was 165 lbs. @ 5'4". I remember the 1st diet at 14 - Scarsdale. I was 118 lbs. and wanted to be 115. That started the cycle of yo-yo weight loss for nearly 4 decades. I'm mad that it took me this long to FINALLY figure out what my silver bullet is - no sugar, no flour.

This journey started with having Green Smoothies at breakfast. I started to feel better, which led me to doing a 21-day challenge that was vegan, that had recipes every day and I stuck to it. I felt great and didn't want to stop the traction that I had going - I have been on so many diets and stopped/started/failed.

I found FS and started reading more and then found the silver bullet for me - Bright Line Eating. I finally have had the Oprah "AHA moment". The weight is coming down but even better, I feel better than I ever have.

Hi Cassidy. Just an idea, but it may be worth the time to explore and work thru the causes of the stress eating. I worked with an eating disorder counsel and the big thing I learned that I wasn't saying what I felt which caused a lot of overeating.
