trying to find my diet, the HCG diet on this site to add to "my diets" :)
Johanne, wow that was pretty informative. Great article, you have excellent writing skills.

dieting
The Dukan Diet, my Perspective. Roughly a week of all protein. Then you do protein one day then protein and the not so good tasting but good for you veggies. Alternating until you get to your "true weight". Tons of water and a bit of oat bran. Then when you take off the weight they throw you a bone and let you add something else to your diet, I don't remember what that is it is a long way off. Positive side: Not hungry or feel deprived. There are rules, some people like me need to follow rules or I begin to make up my own and get in trouble. HEHE. My pie chart in the food tracker looks balanced 50% protein, 30% carbs 20% fat roughly. Negative side: Vampire breath.

Searching for a buddy that's cool.
Hi Angela, I sent a request but I haven't heard back from you, I probably did It wrong or something. So I'm little slow when it comes to these computer things. I've had a hell of a last few days, all diet unrelated.

Searching for a buddy that's cool.
I'm pretty laid back for the most part but driving my self nuts not feeling like I am not accompishing any thing. I have pretty much always eaten healthy but a series of medications and the onset of PCOS has shot my weight up up up. I'm almost 40 and have no kids few responsabilities. I have the time to be a good buddy. I'm looking for someone with a philosophy to treat others as you want to be treated.

total carb intake
I'm mathmatically challenged. I thought in a 1,200 calorie diet it was to be 150 carbs. What is a good #? I'm "insulin resistant". I've asked a few diabetics (which I'm not yet, gratefully) how many carbs is a low carb diet? No one could give me an answer, maybe I am wording it incorrectly. I have so much conflicting information I am becoming overwhelmed. Please help me before I give up.
