Ketosis
My strips only have showed a trace for majority of the time. I use them first thing in the morning before I drink or eat anything. I have lost 39 pound since Jan 3rd so I know even if the aren't turning a dark color I'm still ok. Just use them as a guidance. Your scale and clothes will let you know the true thing.

Low carb/ sugar free products
I don't know if you know this or not but alot of "sugar-free" products have sugar alcohols in them which is why you are having an laxative effect. Make sure to read your labels. I know south beach bars do but atkins don't.

carbs and aspartame....
The diet I'm following allows for 2- diet sodas per day. I never drank it so I use crystal light instead.

Is coffee creamer ok?
I use either coffee-mate sugar-free french vanilla or internatonal delight. They only have 1 carb and no sugar alcohol.

ALCOHOL...
You know you can have whiskey with diet right? There is always Mich Ultra too. Whiskey doesn't have carbs but your body burns alcohol before carbs so you have to burn all the alcohol off first. I just prefer to say no unless special occasions.
