There is no reason to eat junk for any reason. As chadlius88 clearly stated, it's all about calorie intake. You want to gain, eat more calories. You want to loose, eat less.

Can I make serving sizes to my own recipes?
put your recipes in at the serving size. if you don't know how much is in the serving size. use a nutritional recipe calculator online. or you can just put the whole thing in and say you only ate 1/12 of it or something like that.
