I am down a couple lbs...the same ones...again. I think I have this straight now. Real food, with real fat, no processed carbs, easy on dairy (fat magnet!) and lots of veggies. ...paleo style. Since I have been eating more lean, clean meats (grass-fed and pastured), real saturated fats (organic/virgin coconut oil and pasture raised/organic butter) and fresh organic veggies and fruits...I have had more energy and I am stronger. I'm getting more out of my workouts. My muscles have been sore for a week and a half....hehehe. I have to tell ya...I had my GF snacks and meals and they ALL. Gave. Me. Gas. NO THANKS! Done with that little experiment. Real food...all the way. I've been eating onions and beans constantly, and no issues with gas. NONE. WTH??

OK, so now you know, this is who I am. I pop in and out of people's lives because I don't know how to handle social interactions...no matter the form. I get overwhelmed with reading and replying to people, freak and back off. I know a large part of it has to do with the personal family pressures I have. And, frankly, those won't go away until my mother has passed. That's just how it is. I have to find a way to deal with it so that I don't stress or get overly emotional towards myself. So until I get rich and get some therapy or figure some things out on my own....that's probably how I'll be...popping in and out of here. :-/

Friday...yes! No plans this weekend. Just what I want. :-D

Going to the store after work today. So I need to figure out what I'm going to eat this coming week. It would appear that I need to cut the carbs and add more skinned fruit (for fiber) and veggies (for nutrients). Got the OK from my trainer on the Willshire Farms Virginia Ham I'm using in my breakfast egg-scramble-thingy cause there are no preservatives and whatnot. I still have happy cow burgers in the freezer. Will ask his thoughts on dairy and how much if I am to loose 10 by end of holidays. Will cruise my recipes on allrecipes.com. Haven't been on there in a while and sure most of what's in my recipe box are gluten hell!

Oh, went the the track last night with former co-worker. We watched a couple races, his horse got a Show and he was very excited. HAHA! We went to dinner at Tumbleweed. I had 2 corn tortilla enchiladas (1 spicy chicken, 1 seasoned ground beef) with black beans and rice. Told them to choose what sauces for enchiladas and got red sauce and something orangish. Surely traces of wheat/gluten in it all, but minimal compared to a flour tortilla. Oh, and I had 3 $1 southern tea mixed drinks. For a buck, not much alcohol in them, but I felt a little bit of it. Enough to get my mouth going. UGH! Surprise of the evening...before we parted ways, I was talking about how I feel I'm pushy and asked what he thought of me...how he saw my personality. He said I'm confident, don't take shit from anyone and tell it like it is. I did not see the 'confident' coming AT ALL! The others are just another way of saying pushy....I think...I dunno...perhaps that is me projecting what I think and twisting his words. Anyway, I had a big ass smile the rest of the night.

Had a talk with my trainer yesterday morning. Told him I want to lose 10 lbs by Christmas. He explained to me (and I finally let it sink in) that eating carbs like potatoes with my breakfast will not help me accomplish that. If I eat carbs before I workout, then my body is going to use those carbs to burn for energy instead of the already stored fat in my body. So it's kind of pointless. He said if I am going to eat carbs, then do it after a workout. OK. I got it. I don't like it, but I got it.

Went to PF Changs last night. It was OK. The lettuce wraps appetizer that I've heard so much about were OK. Nothing special. I got GF ginger chicken with broccoli and brown rice. That was good! And today I only have 2 lbs of water retention from the sodium in it all. I drank lots of water yesterday planning for that meal. I need to have more today too.

I will be working out with my girlfriends in about an hour, so I'm gonna make breakfast (with potatoes cause I made double of that yesterday to just heat up today), and get my workout toys ready to go. Wow, I am so tired right now...hope the coffee kicks in soon.
