After being overweight (considered by the medical community as "Morbidly Obese")for 10 years, I am finally making a sincere effort to get healthy. I have Hypothyroid, Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, High Cholesterol, etc... I am 40 and single. People say they can't understand why I haven't been snatched up. I know. The outside is what attracts men first, then they fall in love with the person. If you don't have that immediate attraction, it's not going to happen. If you have ever tried on-line dating... you know guys won't communicate unless they have a "PICTURE" of you even though the website is about the inner you. I recently did a revival of a show I helped create a few years ago... A musical called "Fat & Sassy". I have gained 45lbs since the original show. It should be called "Fatter and Sassier". After I get to my goal weight, I will be the "whole package."

Looking for ATKINS buddies
Hey all Atkins lovers... I found a great website, genaw.com. It has great low carb recipes. I am down 80lbs since Jan. 2010. I have done a few rounds of HCG protocol. The best part of protocol is the Atkins you need to maintain after the rapid weight loss. My first 40lbs were on Atkins induction. I can throw you snack, tips, encouragement. You go peeps!

1st Day of HCG R2
It does work. I am on R3. I lost my first 40 on Atkins, then found HCG. On the drops. 4 days, down 9 lbs. I find week 4 intollerable. I seem to only lose 15 lbs per round in the first 2 weeks, then stall. I have almost lost 80 lbs since Jan. 2010. I LOVE ATKINS. Best part of getting off HCG. I prefer drops over injections.

I enjoyed the Herbalife, lost weight..then gained it back. Everyone is different, depending on what and how you like to eat. I have lost over 70 lbs on Atkins since Jan. 2010. I love my meat. You may have success on Herbalife, it feels good at the time.

Atkins - Just moving from Induction to OWL, anyone else doing the same??
I stayed on induction for 4 months. BIG mistake for me. My kidneys and Liver are not liking the high protein, low carb. Even though my cholesterol is down quite a bit, my labs for function are all wacked out. My doctor wants me to eat complex carbs and limit the protein and fats. Big shocker. Should have done OWL sooner. Now I am fearful of gaining weight.

Upset stomach...
A soother...One can swanson's chicken broth, boil with a piece of fresh ginger (ginger helps nausea and funky feelings), add a little green onion, a dash of seasame oil, then wisk an egg and drizzle into soup... egg drop soup. The best and calms the nerves.
