Slow at stead - weight has been slow to come off. But total of 3 inches lost since my restart.

This is my year...ready to unload the weight baggage. No more hiding behind this weight - time for self awareness - what makes me tick - what do I enjoy & want. Lost 37 pounds since my initial weight loss journey started - only 36 more to my goal. First time I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is my journey it has taken a while - a lot of emotional baggage to unload - time to backup the loading truck and unload it!!

Welcome 2013 - move over world here I come!!

Big challenge this week....week vacation with out access to restaurant & food for breakfast. Will be out and about for lunch/dinner so that shouldn't be a problem. Have stocked up on Atkins bars & peanuts that should hold me until Noon. The condo has a small microwave but no stove. Doing good on plan don't want to blow it this week. This time of the season has been my downfall always off plan - so far so good. Thanksgiving was a breeze to stay on - this week I am worried about!!

Made it through Thanksgiving on plan - first time ever!! Made special low carb side dishes for me and other high carb items did not phase me at all. Even cooked pecan pie & 4 layer chocolate cake!! Weight loss is slow but steady. Better to lose then gain!! This is a lifestyle change no quick fix!! Increasing my coconut oil & water intake - hope to see some results next week. 9 days till my big trip will really need help to stay on plan while traveling 7 days. I can do it if all of the events were in my control but when traveling with others it can be a challenge but I'm up for it!!
