I have an amazing husband and a wonderful son. I love my job as a director at the YMCA. I play several instruments, read anything I can get my hands on, and am absolutely addicted to Star Wars and Mario games. :) My favorite workout is HIIT and I hate running but I do it! I have a big weight loss goal for 2017 and I am grabbing as much support as possible!

What do people do who have chronic issues with pain
I would strongly agree with the water aerobics; if you have that option available to you, definitely look into it. Also lower impact machines may be good. I have joint pain and while I like walking and running, sometimes it just isn't an option. Elliptical machines or AMT trainers are better for less joint impact.

Need some advice
I would suggest looking on Pinterest for fitness. There are a ton of excellent 5 and 10 minute, do-anywhere workouts. That might be a good place to start. You could do a few back to back when you had a stretch of time available, or just one if you only have a few minutes. Anything is better than nothing, not necessarily to speed up weight loss (you're doing awesome!) but more for overall fitness. Good luck!

Running and Kettlebells!
Signed up for a 5k earlier in the year to make myself do it. Did it, now getting ready for a 4-mile run on the 4th of July! Trying to run/walk at least 10 miles a week (including at least one 4-mile run/walk a week), as well as doing a full-body kettlebell workout one or two times a week. Kettlebells are super fun and I love how you get a whole body workout in under an hour. Haven't lost a ton of weight yet, but each week my run time improves and I am feeling great!

Let’s Talk About Sex and Calories!
Well, it's even sadder that according to this article masturbation burns more calories than sex...someone is doing something wrong...ha ha ha!
