my 2nd time
i just wanted to let everyone know that i did the atkins diet a few years back and i lost 75 pounds in a very short period of time. it was easy and i felt great doing it. unfortunately the thinner i got the weirder i felt. it almost seemed as if i was disappearing. it scared me a bit to feel my arms and legs getting smaller. consequently i gained all the weight back over time so now i must start all over again. this time i will not let the fear in. i will get accustomed to a thin me and feel good about it.Smile
i did learn that atkins does work and that i can do it.

Need to lose 55 pounds and over 50 for health reasons
i am 57 and just joined this site. i live in rural ontario canada and also bake my own bread, make jam, freeze veggies and can everything. my son is still loafing at home (26). i would love to be your buddy and welcome you as mine.

What's so good about slim?
more comfortable in public seats eg. movies, airplanes, stadiums etc.
in the summer its easier to keep cool without all that extra fat.
