Calorie Breakdown
I've been wondering the same thing. I'm not on slimfast, but my figures on this site are showing 53% carbs, 16% protein and 31% fat. I can't adjust my carbs too much as I'm diabetic (and have just about got my blood sugars stable), but I'm wondering whether this looks like a healthy diet. I know that when I look at my plate, it seems to be mostly potatoes; and I'm wondering if adding more meat/fish to balance that would be feasible (I'm still hungry most days). Or even if more protein and less fat (or vice-versa) would be beneficial.

Did you get an answer to this one? Or can anyone else offer a suggestion?

Adding a custom food for your diary
I always check the packet anyway, to make sure what's in the database is right. If it isn't, I'll go to the website and correct it. The biggest issue I've seen so far is people inputting nutritional information for "1 portion" and not anything to indicate what their portion size is.

Hunger!!
I've heard that post-fermented tea (red tea) is better than green tea if you're on a low-cal diet. I've even seen it sold as "weight loss tea" like some kind of miracle cure, though I have no idea how this is supposed to work.

I know I used to drink a lot of it last summer, and it certainly helps you feel full. I lost a lot of weight then, too, though I don't know if the tea's actualy related to that or not.

Geeky buddy looking for other Geeky budy!
Another geek here, most of my time spent sitting at the computer writing code, or running tabletop RPGs. Trying to keep a balanced diet on minimum budget, but could really use some extra motivation.

Total / Net carbohydrate
I've seen several times people mention that they have trouble because of the different way foods are labeled in different countries. As I understand it, where a food packet here (in the UK) says "Total carbohydrate", that is what this site (and the android app) refers to as "Net carbs"

In this case, I think it would be useful to have some kind of setting when you sign up for what country you're in - so for foods that are sold internationally, you don't end up giving incorrect figures to anybody on the opposite side of the atlantic from whoever entered it.

Also - is it possible to search for all the foods I've entered? Because I think at least a few times I've entered sodium as its quoted on packets rather than converting to milligrams. I'd like to go through and make sure I correct any mistakes I've made.
