1300 calories? That puts your body into starvation mode. Any sugars or carbs consumed go straight to fat. Eat healthy balanced meals if you are working out, aim for a RDI of about 500 less than recommended a day, and don't ignore cravings. Keep up the workouts, and I promise you will see results.

Need a more balanced diet.
Lean red meats.

I found a favorite of mine is venison steaks. To prep, take a steak, brush lightly with oil, and season with garlic pepper and onion salt, both sides. Place in a sandwich bag, and tenderize with a mallet until about half as thick. Remove from bag, season again with onion salt and garlic pepper, and place in a new bag. Place in refrigerator and let it rest 1 hour. Preheat a skillet, then place steak in the skillet for about 3-5 minutes a side, or until browned. Add fresh asparagus for a side, and you have a great, lean, high protein, low fat meal. And it won't be tough, either.
