Week Summary:
DIET:
I've been doing pretty good with my diet. Usually hardboiled egg whites for breakfast or high fiber cereals with 2% milk. water with a light snack between lunch. usually some type of baked meat and a salad for lunch. a banana as a snack before dinner. then an early dinner, usually right when I get home since I'll workout after. and it's usually a turkey sandwich or whatever else. since i run and do a lot of cardio, i have some type of carbs. i really should read into the "good" and "bad" carbs though.
EXERCISE:
Mon, Wed and Fri is mandatory PT. I do what the shop does for the 30mins we have to workout together, which is usually workout at the gym in the weight room or run. Afterwards i cont with the weights and/or other exercises for 15 to 30 mins, then cardio for another 20 to 30 mins.
Afterwork it'll either be the Jillian Michael's 30day Shred tape or I go to the gym and do a Zumba class to cover cardio. If it isn't that I'm on the eliptical on a moderate/high resistance for 30 mins, then another 30 or so mins of arms and abs.
RESULTS:
I dropped one pound which was this morning lol. But i've lost about 2 to 3 inches around my waist. I've noticed the nasty looking back folds have been going away, my arms look more toned and so do my legs. I feel a lot stronger and healthier and even had a comment on my arms today lol. As discouraging as the scale is, i still keep to it just so I know if I'm doing something wrong that i am GAINING weight. As long as I'm maintaining i'm content because I do see a change. Guess thats all for now!

So mother nature is visiting soon, which explains my water retention/bloat and my constant sweet tooth. I still have been pretty good with my workouts. Mostly doing strength this week, next week I'm still going to cont with strength but focus more on cardio to break the plateau that my girl nika and i are trying to over come!
I haven't gained so that's a good thing. Been real active with work as well so that's another plus! One thing I did learn I need to do is EAT MORE YOGURT!!! It said in my magazine that eating 18oz of yogurt a day can help you drop a jean size. YAY!

So I haven't dropped any weight, but just lately I've been doing more strength training than cardio. So I have been noticeably losing inches and I feel amazing! I was pretty worried, I stepped on the scale and saw that my weight didn't change. So I got my measuring tape and measured my waste line and noticed that I've lost about 2inches since last week. SWEET!

K so technically I didn’t officially start till late night, but I’m counting it anyways.
Prior to this, I’ve always watched my eating. I VERY RARELY eat deep fried foods, I don’t drink sodas or sugary juices, as well as eating in decent sized portions. As for as exercise goes, I still have decent stamina - but no where near where I need it to be for my PT test sometime in MAY.
So tonight ON TOP of my work out schedule, I am aiming to do Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred - yes, for 30 days straight. I’ve done it before and man, if you really do the exercises and take no breaks - it is very intense and VERY much worth it. I wasn’t able to do the full 30 then due circumstances during the snow storm.
Anyway, let’s see how this week goes folks!

Ok so today I started the Acai Berry 48hr detox. Supposed to flush our your system and help get rid of a lot of the nasty stuff built up in your colon. I kinda started late in the day, but I'll be posting again on any results.
