Concerned about Father-in-law
Hello TGlenna, I agree that the best thing to do would be to lead by example, patience, and understanding. Since you mentioned your FIL has diabetes, perhaps he'd consider a way of eating like SugarBusters? He would have to cut out processed sugars, some high sugar fruits, and be more open to whole grain foods.. BUT the good news is that it is easy to follow and you are still able to eat a large variety of foods. Oh, and if your in-laws don't like eating vegetables; perhaps they'd prefer drinking it via green smoothies.. with more fruit in the smoothie to start out with? If they have a couple everyday then they'd be getting plenty of servings of fruits and vegetables.
