Well, I can't tell you about being a bride but I'm a soon to be bridesmaid. Had about 4 months notice. And like you I didn't or rather don't want to be a fat bridesmaid. Even after I came to know of it, I just took it lightly but then its just that all of a sudden reality hits you, and I thought "Yes, I want to look pretty." And there it all began. I'd say find your motivation. My motivation is wearing all the lovely dresses these "oh so skinny" girls wear.
Sounds lame. But it is what it is
