64 years old and happily married for 38 years. Even with I was a soccer referee for AYSO I still was very chunky. Need to get down to enjoy retirement with my husband. Weight is hindering our desire to travel and hike. About six months ago I started using a fitbit and have enjoyed the exercise and comrodery of the fitbit family.

Fatsecret Update
It has been quite a while since I've posted. I've been working on my diet since Thanksgiving of last year (November 201Cool and I have lost 37 1/2 pounds. I had lost 40 pounds, but summer visitors came over a month and a half period and gained 5 pounds back with breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am now back on my diet in ernest with a fitbit tracker. First day had 7858 steps. I am doing my walking with my overweight small dog, Teddi. He is not as excited, but we are trying to get in 250 steps every 1/2 hour (he had 750 steps first day). I switch between Weight Watchers and Mediterranean Diets. I have a husband that has gained next to nothing in 38 years of marriage, so I try to be considerate of his diet too! I live in Mesa, AZ and it is very hard to exercise outside in the hot weather. We've taken to walking around the house! It's working and when I get bored we will go to the local mall. I need all the encouragement I can get!
