The first time I did atkins, I weighed 235 lbs, I got down to 130 and felt I was too thin, so gained some back. I stayed within my weight for quite a long time (5 years) but some life circumstances, caused me to turn to the wrong foods for comfort. I knew better but wasn't able to help myself. I quit smoking and allowed myself to eat things I didn't need, and the excuse was I'm earning it, I know better now. I have been back on the plan for a little over a month now and feel absolutely energized. I do more on my day off than I ever have, walking the puppy twice a day, gardening, and heavy cleaning. I just have more energy.

Need Help!!! Major Problem!!
You should hard boil a couple dozen eggs, buy sardines, chop some veggies and keep in zipper bags. Dressings come in plastic bottles, you can get porkrinds for snacks....deli roast beef, some mayo, roamine lettuce leaves...all sorts of things. And some bottled water, atkins protein bars, shakes....etc Don't panic we're here for you.

Very Happy Thank you so much...I just got on and have a buddy. I did the program before too, but allowed myself to be lulled by the wrong foods. Reaction to a bad breakup after many years. But back on track now, and happier than ever, I'm gonna be a Grandma and need to be healthy and active for the new baby.

Hey, I'm Marcia, and am in Atkins induction. Found this site through the Atkins site, and love the ability to get real use carb counts. Sometimes I don't do my veggies in cups, so I can have more variety.. So happy to be here and taking control of my weight and exercising again.
