Ate well Sunday except for dinner. Went to Ryan's. Nuff said? I didn't go crazy with food OR dessert but I lost myself completely in the rolls...ate 3 of them, with honey butter. And ya know what? THEY TASTED GREAT!
The first eye-opener was when I got on the scale & found I'm down about 1/2 lb from yesterday. I don't think that will last, those rolls are going to come back and haunt me.
The second eye-opener, the real doozie, came when I entered that food in my journal! Thayt was in the ballpark of a 1300 calorie meal! But that's not so bad...I used to eat twice that when we went to Ryan's or Golden Corral...plus I'd have eaten all garbage the rest of the day...maybe even had fast food for lunch the same day. All those calories, all that fat, loading it into my body, day after day...how have I avoided a heart attack? Not to mention I was drinking 2 pots of coffee a day, EVERY DAY on top of whatever crap I was eating!
I am SO glad I found FatSecret to help me take back control of my health!
Will I go back to Ryan's? Probably. But hopefully next time I'll remember that the Coke tasted way too sweet, the pork roast left a greasy coating in my mouth, and the macaroni & cheese tasted like plastic.
The rolls...that's another story.
